I’m Drew. I live in Brooklyn with my wife and dogs. I’ve spent my adult life playing pro basketball, doing sales for tech companies, and writing.

I use this blog for book reviews, general life updates, posts about random things that fascinate me, and the occasional unhinged deep dive into a scientific topic.

My most viewed posts are about playing basketball overseas, working in Hollywood, and attending Harvard.  My content there gets about 50,000 views per month. This has earned me 10 whole dollars. My favorite thing I’ve written there is a story about a high school biology exam gone horribly wrong.

I like to go to The Met and find weird paintings with animals in them.
